Charlotte first started playing piano at the age of 3, then she started learning cello at 6. After years of hard work, she is now taking Bachelor of Music degree at The Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts, majoring in cello, under the tutelage of Dr. Letty Poon. She was awarded the HKSAR Government Scholarships Fund - Scholarships For Outstanding Performance in Music.

Charlotte had studied in a traditional elite school with hectic academic school life since her childhood, however, it did not stop her from joining various orchestral and chamber activities. She continuously represented her school in different scales of competition and achieved an outstanding performance, from local to International events, ranging from Hong Kong School’s Music Festival to International Youth Music Festival in Slovakia in 2016. During the trip to Slovakia, not only had she gained a very special experience, but also came First in the age group of under 21 and under 16.

Furthermore, she had also joined Oxford Cello School in 2017 and gained profound experiences in making music with fellow young cellists.

Other than gaining experiences in performing, Charlotte wants to share her passion in music to the next generation, and hopes that music could bring them joy and light in life.
